The Ricky Casey Trust involved in NHS training module for GPs

One of our main aims is not only to educate and raise awareness to the public, it's also to establish an early diagnosis for patients, and to educate doctors and clinicians for a better understanding and outcome for patients with RMC.

This begins when patients present themselves at the GP with their symptoms. It has been great to meet and be connected with Educational Development and GP Leads that focus on just that.

Tom and Nicola are working hard by sharing both the medical and personal information to help educate and have input into part of a training module for GPs across England and Wales. This module will tell Ricky's story and will highlight RMC (Renal Medullary Carcinoma) and The Ricky Casey Trust.

This education platform will be focusing on early, earlier, and faster cancer diagnoses in primary care and will hopefully be available for all GPs by the end of May / early June 2025.
