Founder Nicola visits the Manchester Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Centre

The Ricky Casey Trust founder Nicola Casey recently paid a visit to the Manchester Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Centre (MSCTC). Nicola said it was a great meeting, and such a privilege to be connected with CEO Anthony Mason from Sickle Cell Care Manchester, who's doing great things at the centre.
It was also such a pleasure and privilege to be introduced and now connected to Marilyn Burton, Specialist Haemoglobinopathy Nurse Practitioner and Centre Manager of the Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Centre.
All organisations are looking forward to more hard work and collaborations, working together in raising awareness for sickle cell trait and the links to Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC).
It is so important all our organisations work with each other to get more information out there to the public and to healthcare professionals so we can save lives.
Please get tested and know your trait, along with any signs and symptoms.
Can you help us?
We rely on your donations to continue our important work, and we welcome any offers of your valuable time.
If you are a medical professional and feel that you can help us — or that we can help you — with research into rare renal cancers, we would love to hear from you.
