Ellis and Tom take on the Manchester Marathon

Following in the footsteps of trust patron Kevin Sinfield, Ellis and Tom will be tackling the Therme Manchester Marathon on Sunday October 10th in order to raise money and awareness for The Ricky Casey Trust.

Ellis, Nicola Casey's son, will be setting off in Red Group A at 10.35am — right behind the elite distance runners. This is down to his outstanding sub-4-hour time that he posted in April when he ran a 30-mile ultramarathon around the roads of Saddleworth.

Trustee Tom Waddell, a Consultant Medical Oncologist working at the Christie Hospital in Manchester, will be setting off a little later in the day and has been training hard for the event.
