A record-breaking night to remember

Wow… what an incredible night. 🧡

Our recent Ricky Casey Trust Charity Ball was truly unforgettable. We were overwhelmed by the love, generosity and support shown by every single person in the room. Thanks to you all, we raised an incredible £27,295 — a total that has completely blown us away.

One particularly moving moment came with an extraordinary £10,000 donation, which left us speechless. This level of generosity means more than words can ever express, and we are so deeply grateful.

The evening itself was nothing short of magical. The atmosphere was electric, guests looked absolutely stunning, and the celebrations continued right through to a very late finish. The laughter, dancing and shared joy created memories that will stay with us forever.

Events like this don't happen without a huge amount of work behind the scenes. In the lead-up, the pressure is always felt, but seeing everything come together so beautifully makes it all worthwhile.

A special thank you goes to our wonderful host, Andy Powell, whose professionalism and warmth helped the evening run seamlessly. Our entertainment on the night was outstanding, from our brilliant magician to the unforgettable keynote act, adding something truly special to the event.

We would also like to thank Neil Aylett for his exceptional work on lighting and sound, ensuring the room looked and felt amazing throughout the evening. Thank you to our photographer, Adam Spencer Young, for capturing such special moments, and to the incredible team at Smokies Park, who have become not just colleagues but friends.

On a personal note, when Ricky was lost it was impossible to imagine that something born from heartbreak would grow into something so powerful. The charity has become such a significant part of life, and nights like this are a powerful reminder of why it all began.

We may be a small, local charity, but together we are creating something truly meaningful — and that is entirely thanks to the continued support of our community.
